So the photos go backwards...sorry about that...We are all doing well...now into week three of Kira's life outside :-) One more week of antibiotics for Mommy and hopefully all will truly be well. What we'd really like is some sunshine!! So if you have some, send it our way. xoxoxo

First trip for King Kone!

So we've had a lot of rain the past few days. On Flag day we decided bad weather or not it was time to get the good stuff. Kiddie cups around, except for Kira, who slept through it all.

Today -- was Kira's two week check-up and her weight is going well, up to 8'7''

Baby Update!

Well Kira is enjoying her first few days at home. We can tell because she wakes up a lot between 7pm and midnight to tell us how much she loves it here!

No really, it's not that bad. She's been great, and is adjusting very well to her new environment. Alana is slowly getting used to another kid in the house, and the dogs are taking it all in stride. Here are a few more pictures, enjoy.

Wonderful news from the Lord household!

At 3:00am on June 6th, 2009, Joan gave birth to the newest member of our family, Kira Isabelle Lord!

She is a healthy 7 lbs and 11 oz, and is 21.5" long!

Mother and daughter are doing very well, resting and enjoying this first day of Kira's new life. Thank you to everyone for their love and support!

(For those of you curious why we have not updated Joan's Facebook page, the hospital blocks that website haha).
