Cribs, Ankle & Pickles 3-24-07

Ah, it's been a busy week! Started out with the crib put-together! Yeah!! Now we have a place for WeeLord to sleep, a stroller to move about in, and a car seat to go driving with! :-)


















Monday night -- Chris' ankle sprain, aren't the pictures lovely? They're from Thursday night...swelling is going down and he can now hobble around!

Visitors! 2-28 and 3-3

On Wednesday 2-28, Najam and Graydon met us in DC for dinner (supposed to be a Wizard's game too, but wouldn't you know it was sold-out -- all those Shaq fans buying up the tix).

Anyway, here are Chris, Graydon and Najam at CapCity, one of my fav restaurants...yes, b/c of the free pretzels! and awesome mustard dipping sauce!










Then Kate came to visit, for a totally fun weekend in Maryland! :-) We went to Brookside Gardens Nature Center, where she took this lovely picture of J wishing she were a turtle! hehehe...I was rooting for the TERPS people!











and Willa loved Kate's company this weekend, here we are at her favorite vantage point, the window to the world outside...I like to call it her bridal chamber, she always looks like a bride when she pokes her head out to see what you're cooking in the kitchen! Doesn't Kate look great!! :-)










And finally...kate returned home...and this lovely photo was taken shortly thereafter, dear sweet nicholas climbing without anything but he's own brut strength up onto the sink...so adorable eh?

Haven't figured out all the attachments yet...but we're working on it. And the dogs are just so interested in what this new item could be used for!

Sunday, February 25, 2007 -- SNOW

We got about five inches of snow today, from 9:30am - 2:30pm it snowed...absolutely lovely! Now they are calling for rain and freezing rain, sure to make the morning commute interesting!

ENJOY!! John/Shannon/Joan/Chris all went sledding and then built two snowpeople!

SNOW! 2-7-07

Yes it snowed last night! Only an inch if that, very light and fluffy! Made the world a little bit prettier and easier to deal with the fact that it was 19 degrees with a windchill in the single digits! Oh how I love winter! :-) I know, many of you think I'm twisted, but this definitely makes me happy! I'll post the picture I took out our front door later tonight (i hope).

OH yea...and the kids don't have school today! hahahaha....hahahaha...WEAK!

November 1st -- Walk Around the Monuments!

Yesterday was another "Gettin' in Shape" Event. A 5K walk from the Washington Monument to the Lincoln Memorial and ending at the closed National Museum of American History! 'Twas a fun day!
